I am a licensed mortician living in the midwest, and I have been doing art and writing for much of my life. I got a Bachellor's of Science in Illustration in 2016 and have worked in the past as a freelance illustrator and graphic designer. I recieved my mortuary science degree in 2024 and currently work full time as a mortician and do my art and writing in my free time.

My main interests relate to surrealism and horror. I am an avid reader and purveyor of films and video games in these genres.

What draws me to horror and the macabre is the idea of the examination of the parts of the human experience that many of us do not want to think about or confront, as well as an indulgance in negative emotions such as fear and disgust in a safe medium. I believe in partaking in the whole human experience, including the negative and unsavory. In my career as a mortician -- and throughout my life experience -- I have found there is a balance of the beautiful and the disgusting, and that often those things may exist at the same time.
